An afternoon spent creating live illustrations for guest during a beautiful wedding in a historic countryside estate.
As guests enjoy drinks and conversation, they’re invited to come and have their portrait sketched live. Each illustration is completed on the day and beautifully packaged, ready to be taken home as a keep sake. My illustrations are rendered in a style that is polished enough to feel like a gift while relaxed enough to reflect the essence of the day. My favourite part of this service is watching the excitement build throughout the day as guests witness the process.
How it works…
Set Up
I arrive with a compact, unobtrusive station that includes my drawing surface, materials, and packaging supplies. The setup is designed to fit into reception flow without interrupting your event.
Process
Each portrait is painted with markers, watercolour and finished with loose fine lines aiming for a style that feels multilayered and artistically timeless.
Timing
Illustrations are made live throughout the reception/event. I work continuously to produce portraits at a steady pace so guests can receive theirs during the event or shortly after.
Final Presentation
Finished illustrations are mounted and placed in protective sleeves with elegant finishes, making it a ready made gift for your guest to take home on the day.
